Houston, we have a heartbeat!

I had my first ultrasound appointment this morning. I was so nervous and excited. I'm surprised that I was able to sleep last night. I'm also glad that I scheduled the appointment for 8am instead of 4pm. Who could sit and wait for this all day? Mike was luckily able to go with me and I met my new doctor and the nurse. They are great. I was so thrilled to see the baby, yolk sack and a flickering heartbeat. The doctor said that everything looks great and that the baby is measuring spot on based on my last mentrual period. 7 weeks 5 days. This puts my estimated due date at June 3.
