I need wardrobe help...

I'm a mess. All of my clothes are just not working for me anymore. Yes, I am able to squeeze my post-pregnany body into my size 6 pre-pregnancy jeans but it just ain't the same. Hello muffin top! I just don't feel stylish anymore. Well lets face it, I've never really been stylish. I try but I just am not good at putting great outfits together. One of my main poblems is that my low-rise jeans rub right on my c-section scar and it is not comfortable at all. I need help. I want to pick up a few must haves for this fall that I can mix and match and that can take me through the winter season while I continue working on losing weight. Please ladies! Give me some advice! Keep in mind I may become a SAHM in the future so cost is a big issue. So as much as a die for Nordys, Old Navy and Target are much more in my price range.

I can't say I'm surprised. I've known for a few weeks my position was being eliminated, but I've been so patiently waiting for the actual notice. I have 60 days to try to find another job within the company or else my last day will be November 19. Understand my post a few weeks back about being a SAHM? I'm actively looking inside the company but due to my 100% virtual status, I believe this is going to be quite difficult. I have mixed emotions about the whole thing. Now that it is real, I'm pretty bummed. I kind of feel like snuggling on the couch with Court and vegging out. :( Shit balls!

Sssshhhhh...it's a surprise!

Mike's birthday is the 25th and he has specifically asked for me to not get him anything. But I couldn't really not get him anything, so Courtney and I headed out to Port Angeles (yes Twihards...the Port Angeles in the Twilight series) last night to do some pottery painting. I of course, do not have a creative bone in my body, so I can't guarantee his gift will turn out all that cute. But what is cute is this:

1. If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Oh boy. This is tough. I love me some beautiful beaches but I really want to visit Holland since that is where my family is from. Remember where we got Courtney's middle name? I'd also love to go to Ireland.

2. Which do you like better, cooking or baking?
I suck at both but would prefer baking because who doesn't love cookies and cupcakes.

3. What type of music do you listen to?
I like pop music and Country music but I'll really listen to anything. I really enjoy my XM radio.

4. What's your favorite holiday?
Christmas of course!

5. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I'd say I'm an extrovert.

6. Are you excited for fall? If so, what do you love most about the season?
I am excited about fall. I love sweaters and boots. I also really look forward to taking Courtney to her first pumpkin patch and dressing her up for Halloween! She's going to be a pumpkin!

7. What websites do you frequent most often?
Facebook, Blogger, Google and The Bump.

8. What is your favorite childhood memory?
I can't say that I have a favorite. I had a really great childhood and enjoyed all of it. I guess if I had to choose it would be our family vacation cross country. It was a wonderful experience. I can't wait to be able to do it with Mike and Courtney!

I think she just looks so cute in bow/flower headbands. Mike rolls his eyes, but he tolerates it because he think she looks cute and people rarely ask "Is it a boy or a girl?" when she wears one. :)

1/4 of a year or 3 months!

Three months already? I only have 273 days until Courtney's first birthday so I should really get started on planning it. I kid, I kid!

She changes so fast these days. A few of her favorite things include:
- Sucking on her hands
- Pulling her legs up and kicking
- She likes to talk a bunch (oohing)
- Tolerates tummy time a bit longer
- Likes sitting up on laps and is trying out her bumbo seat
