Did you watch?

How beautiful was the bride, the ceremony and that first kiss?

And how about the part where Prince Harry turns around to look at Kate walking down the aisle and whipsers to his brother "I can't wait for you to see her." DEAD!

and then there was this. I have no words.

But then, David Beckham saved the day. ::swoon::

Courtney's 1st Easter!

What beautiful weather we had the Saturday before Easter. It was perfect for the Easter egg hunt our friends had planned for all the kids. It was a nice 60 degrees out and we had a BBQ. I'm so glad Courtney was able to hunt for eggs. I would have been no fun to do it just the 3 of us.

We started the day by coloring eggs.

After the previous photo was taken, we had our first casualty.

Then daddy stepped in to do some coloring.

We then headed out for the egg hunt and BBQ.

Bright and early Easter morning, a basket from the Easter bunny was opened.
(leap frog fridge farm, sweet strawberries - dotty-janes from Gracious May, puppy dog with bunny ears, new shades, playtex fork and spoon, nuby sippy, the story of easter book, biscuit's pat & play easter book, bunny ears)

[Easter bunny Photos]

I've got a few Easter bunny photos for you. On April 2, we took Courtney all the way to Lynwood (a two hour drive) to have photos taken with a real live bunny. The studio that I found works with the Humane Society to help get bunnies adopted into good homes. Courtney did great and the photos are darling.

and because it wouldn't be her first Easter if I didn't traumatize her with the great BIG Easter bunny:

I doubt "Easter Joy" is what comes to Courtney's mind in this photo!

10 months!

Where do I begin?

- My baby girl walks with the help of a walker, and she really likes it.
- She must be going through a growth spurt right now because she is eating a ton. She takes 4 bottles a day, eats three meals a day and snacks. She loves Gerber puffs, YoBaby Organic Yogurt, plain cheerios and mum mums.
- She has learned how to use a sippy cup with a straw. She sure has personality. If you take something from her, she throws a fit with tears and all.
- If you touch her and she doesn't want you to, she pushes you away.
- She gives kisses when you say "kiss", but only when she wants to.
- She is becoming such a big girl. We love to watch her grow, but sometimes wish she would just take a break from being on the go. We get exhausted chasing after her. I know it's just the beginning and will get worse when she actually starts walking.
- She's working on somewhere between 3 and 4 teeth on top right now. That means lots of drooling and a few break downs after bedtime.
- When I ask her where the dog is, she looks for Daisy.

I look through pictures all the time and wonder how we went from this:

to this:

and you know that personality/attitude I was talking about? See it here:
